SILENT MANGA AUDITION® is proud to announce an exciting new feature called… “Ask a Mangaka”! Starting from September, we are offering YOU the chance to ask a professional Japanese manga artist those burning questions!

What’s it like to work as a professional manga artist in Japan? How do you get started? Are the hours really brutal? Do you ever sleep?!

Introducing the new “Ask a Mangaka” feature, the SMA editorial team will choose the 5 most interesting questions submitted by YOU the creators, to send over to a professional Japanese mangaka each month to answer!

An “Arte” anime adaptation is currently in the works, too!

We are excited to announce that Kei Ohkubo-sensei, creator of the hugely successful Arte will take time out of her busy schedule to “kick-start” this amazing opportunity, so please stay tuned to our various social media channels as we prepare to open the “hotline” between you and our guest creator! The 5 best questions chosen will be asked to Ohkubo-sensei directly with her responses being published later in September. More information regarding this exciting new feature will be revealed in the near future, so be sure to stay tuned!
