Why did you decide to become a manga editor?
“I’ve always loved manga, ever since I first read Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi. But it was the book Saraba da Waga seishun Shonen Jump (lit: Farewell to the Shonen Jump of my Youth), by Jump’s 3rd editor-in-chief Nishimura-san, that made me want to pursue a career as a manga editor.”
