The deadline! I started during the last week of the contest! I sacrificed my sleep just to finish it.

About Your Manga

How and when did you start making manga? What do you wish you knew as a beginner? What advice would you give to someone who wants to start drawing manga?
When I was 14 years old. I wish I knew more about storyboarding. My advice for beginners is to take the first step and start drawing manga.

Do you draw your manga digitally or by hand? What are your go-to digital or analogue tools?
I draw my manga digitally, and I use my iPad Pro.


What was the first manga you picked up? Is it easy to access manga where you live?
Naruto! Kind of.

Which manga changed your life?
Bakuman.

Which manga character do you most identify with? Why?
Naruto. Because I was also the class clown.


What kind of manga do you want to make next?
I want to make crazy brain-rot, funny manga, like Dandadan. The biggest challenge in my country is that there is no industry and very few readers.

About You

What do you do when you’re not making manga? How do you relax?
I like swimming at the beach or eating good food.

What industry do you work in (if manga making isn’t your primary job)?
I work as a mangaka remotely with an Arabic manga company based in Saudi Arabia.



Where do you see your manga career in five years time?
I see myself published in Japan with an anime adaptation.

What manga making advice would you give to your younger self if you could?
Start drawing manga earlier.

What advice would you give to people entering the SILENT MANGA AUDITION®?
Focus on the Ki-Sho-Ten-Ketsu structure.
